    The secreted recombinant human VHR consists of 187 amino acids and predicts a molecular mass of 20.6 KDa. The apparent molecular mass of the protein is approximately 21 KDa in SDS-PAGE under reducing conditions due to glycosylation. A DNA sequence encoding the human VHR (P51452)(Met 1-Pro 185)was expressed and purified with two additional amino acids (Gly & Pro ) at the N-terminus.
