    The recombinant human HNMT/GST chimera consists of 524 amino acids and has a predicted molecular mass of 60.5 kDa. It migrates as an approxiamtely 50 kDa band in SDS-PAGE under reducing conditions. A DNA sequence encoding the human HNMT (AAH20677.1) (Met 1-Ala 292) was fused with the GST tag at the N-terminus.
