The recombinant human IDO1 consisting of 409 amino acids and has a calculated molecular mass of 46 kDa. It migrates as an approximately 44 kDa band in SDS-PAGE under reducing conditions. A DNA sequence encoding the human IDO1 (P14902-1) (Ala 2-Gly 403) was expressed, with a polyhistide tag at the N-terminus.
