    The recombinant human IL1R3 consists of 350 amino acids and has a predicted molecular mass of 40.7 kDa. In SDS-PAGE under reducing conditions, the apparent molecular mass of rhIL1R3 is approximately 50-55 kDa due to glycosylation. A DNA sequence encoding the human IL1R3 (NP_002173.1) extracellular domain (Met 1-Glu 359) was expressed, fused with the a C-terminal polyhistidine tag.
