    The secreted recombinant human PTPN2 consists of 316 amino acids and predicts a molecular mass of 36.8 KDa. The apparent molecular mass of the protein is approximately 37 KDa in SDS-PAGE under reducing conditions due to glycosylation. A DNA sequence encoding the human PTPN2 ( P17706-1) (Met 1-Asn 314) was expressed and purified with two additional amino acids (Gly & Pro ) at the N-terminus.
