Scientific Description
The recombinant human Fc/TIMP2 is a disulfide-linked homodimeric protein. The reduced monomer consists of 431 amino acids and has a predicted molecular mass of 48 kDa as estimated in SDS-PAGE under reducing conditions. A DNA sequence encoding the mature form of human TIMP2 (NP_003246.1) (Cys 27-Pro 220) was expressed with the fused Fc region of human IgG1 at the N-terminus.
