Rabbit polyclonal antibody to integrin beta 8, which is also known as ITGB8 and integrin subunit beta 8. It is frequently found in the plasma membrane and is expressed in the oligodendrocyte progenitor cells and spinal cord. It is overexpressed in the minor salivary gland and frontal cortex. This protein is a receptor for fibronectin and also acts as a cell surface adhesion receptor mediating cell-adhesion to extra cellular matrix or to other cells through hetero dimerization and connecting to the cytoskeleton and various signaling molecules within cells.
