Recognizes the alpha5 subunit of the integrin a5b1 fibronectin receptor. Reacts with the alpha5 chain (VLA-5) of the CD49e/CD29 heterodimeric fibronectin receptor.

Flow cytometry. In vitro blocking of adhesion. Immunohistochemistry (frozen sections). T-cell co-stimulation. Flow Cytometry: 1 ug/1E6 cells.
