TargetMol Mag Beads Dextran are superparamagnetic iron oxide particles with an average particle size between 13-15 nm, which are coated with dextran molecules. The dextran shell layer on the surface of the particles makes them biocompatible and suitable for a variety of biological applications. The surface functional group is a carboxyl group, which enables the beads to efficiently bind to various biomolecules (e.g., proteins, antibodies, and enzymes) via covalent bonding, and is widely used in biological separation, purification, and detection. This coating not only enhances the stability of the particles, but also provides additional functionality. The dextran shell layer on the surface of the particles makes them biocompatible and suitable for various biological applications.
