MAO-A/SERT-IN-1 is an inhibitor of MAO-A/serotonin transporter (SERT). MAO-A/SERT-IN-1 can reduce SERT-mediated reuptake of 5-HT and has neuroprotective effects in cell inhibition models. MAO-A/SERT-IN-1 can improve depressive behavior in zebrafish and mice[1].
