Scientific Description
The secreted recombinant mouse CD5 consists of 359 amino acids and has a calculated molecular mass of 39.4 kDa. As a result of glycosylation, the apparent molecular mass of rmCD5 is approximately 42-48 kDa in SDS-PAGE under reducing conditions. A DNA sequence encoding the extracellular domain of mouse CD5 (NP_031676.3) (Met 1-Pro 371) was expressed, with a C-terminal polyhistidine tag.
