    The secreted recombinant mouse CPB2 (pro form)comprises 412 amino acids and has a calculated molecular mass of 48 kDa. As a result of glycosylation, the apparent molecular mass of rmCPB2 is approximately 60 kDa in SDS-PAGE under reducing conditions. A DNA sequence encoding the extracellular domain of mouse CPB2 (Q9JHH6) (Met 1-Thr 422) was expressed, with a C-terminal polyhistidine tag.
