The recombinant mouse EDA2R /Fc is a disulfide-linked homodimer. The reduced monomer comprises 379 amino acids and has a predicted molecular mass of 42.4 kDa. The apparent molecular mass of the protein is approximately 49 kDa in SDS-PAGE under reducing conditions due to glycosylation. A DNA sequence encoding the mouse EDA2R (Q8BX35) (Met1-Thr138) was expressed, fused with the Fc region of human IgG1 at the C-terminus.
