    The secreted recombinant mouse MFI2 comprises 700 amino acids and has a calculated molecular mass of 77.5 kDa. The apparent molecular mass of rmMFI2 is approximately 80 kDa in SDS-PAGE under reducing conditions. A DNA sequence encoding the mouse MFI2 (Q9R0R1) (Met 1-Gln 708), without the propeptide, was fused with a C-terminal polyhistidine tag.
