Scientific Description
The recombinant mouse MMP8 consisting of 446 amino acids and has a calculated molecular mass of 52 kDa. It migrates as an approximately 65 kDa band in SDS-PAGE under reducing conditions. A DNA sequence encoding the pro form of mouse MMP8 (NP_032637.3) (Phe 21-Ser 465) was expressed and purified, with an initial Met at the N-terminus.
