Recognizes the 200kD neurofilament protein in a range of species. Species cross-reactivity: Mouse, human, rat, porcine, chicken and reptile.

Suitable for use in Immunohistochemistry and Western Blot. Western Blot: MAP1B and Tau. Immunohistochemistry (Frozen, Paraffin): 1:50-1:100. Note: Does not require protein digestion pre-treatment of paraffin sections. This product does not require antigen retrieval using heat treatment prior to staining of paraffin sections. Recommended Secondary Reagents: Goat anti-mouse IgG: HRP conjugate (rat absorbed), F (ab)2 rabbit anti-mouse IgG HRP conjugate. Positive control: Brain or spinal cord..
