Chemical. CAS: 1450896-99-7 [A], 1450897-02-5 [B]. Formula: C25H37N3O10. MW: 539.6. Isolated from Streptomyces sp. Cinnamoyl aminoglycoside antibiotic. Protein synthesis inhibitor in vitro. Selective inhibitor of bacterial translation elongation, through binding to the 50S subunit. Inhibits EF-G-dependent mRNA translocation but not translocation of the aminoacyl-tRNA. Moderate antibacterial compound, in both Gram-positive and Gram-negative bacteria. - Cinnamoyl aminoglycoside antibiotic. Protein synthesis inhibitor in vitro.
