MCF-7 cells were treated with 50 uM sodium butyrate and 2 nM actinomycin D for 8 hrs. MCF7 cell extract was resolved by electrophoresis (panel B) or immunoprecipitated with a p53 monoclonal (panel A) and resolved by electrophoresis. Proteins were transferred to nitrocellulose, and probed with rabbit polyclonal antibody against acetylated p53 (Lys382). Lane 1=untreated, control MCF-7 cells; Lane 2=treated MCF-7 cells.
