Ranitidine (hydrochloride) (Standard) is the analytical standard of Ranitidine (hydrochloride). This product is intended for research and analytical applications. Ranitidine hydrochloride is a potent, selective and orally active histamine H2-receptor antagonist with an IC 50 of 3.3 microM that inhibits gastric secretion. Ranitidine hydrochloride is a weak inhibitor of CYP2C19 and CYP2C9 [1] [2] .
