Scientific Description
The recombinant rat CD79B/Fc is a disulfide-linked homodimer. The reduced monomer comprises 374 amino acids and has a predicted molecular mass of 42.2 kDa. The apparent molecular mass of the protein is approximately 50 kDa in SDS-PAGE under reducing conditions. A DNA sequence encoding the rat CD79B (O70153) (Met1-Asp158) was expressed, fused with the Fc region of human IgG1 at the C-terminus.
