Interleukin-5 (IL-5) is responsible for the activities attributed to eosinophil differentiating factor, B cell growth factor II and T cell-replacing factor (TRF). IL-5 plays an important role in inducing cell-mediated immunity against parasitic infections and certain tumors.

Stored at ≤ -20°C, stable for one year after receipt. Reconstituted protein solution can be stored at 2-8°C for 2-7 days and at -20°C for 3 months.
