Relebactam sodium (MK-7655 sodium) is a potent and selective beta-lactamase inhibitor with the activity of delaying the development of bacterial resistance to antibiotics. Relebactam sodium can bind to a variety of beta-lactamases, thereby improving the efficacy of beta-lactam antibiotics.
