Western blot analysis of Respiratory Syncytial Virus. 3 ug of RSV virions (subgroup A-Long strain) were loaded on SDS-PAGE, transferred to a PVDF membrane and detected with rabbit anti-RSV (Long strain) Polyclonal Antibody at a 1:1,000 dilution. Goat anti-rabbit secondary antibody was used at 1:10,000 dilution. The antibody detects the following RSV proteins: Glycoprotein (G) ~90 kDa, Fusion (F) protein) ~55 kDa, and nucleocapsid (N) protein) ~46 kDa. Overexposure of the blot can result in detection of M2 protein (~22 kDA-not shown).
