Pro-xylane (Hydroxypropyl tetrahydropyrantriol) is a biologically active C-glycoside in aqueous media, acts as an activator of glycosaminoglycans (GAGs) biosynthesis. Pro-xylane has potential skin anti-aging properties and is eco-friendly, biodegradable, and can be used in cosmetic research [1] .
