SL-017 (ACP-SL-017, ACPSL-017, ACP-SL-017) is a Hypocrellin-B (Hb) derivative and photosensitization agent that may be used to treat abnormal hair growth. SL017 targets the mitochondria and causes the mitochondrial membrane potential to collapse, producing ROS, which in turn leads to mitochondrial rupture.
