Syringaresinol is a lignan that can be extracted from the dragons blood of the Dracaena tree. Syringaresinol increases NO production by increasing the phosphorylation and dimerization of endothelial NO synthase , exerting a vasodilatory effect. Syringaresinol also inhibits the NF-kappaB pathway, exerting anti-inflammatory activity and inhibiting arthritis [1] [2] [3] .
