Scientific Description
Tat-betasyn-degron is an alpha-synuclein knockdown peptide. Tat-betasyn-degron binds to alpha-synuclein and reduces alpha-synuclein levels in primary rat cortical neuron cultures. Tat-betasyn-degron also reduces alpha-synuclein levels and decreases the parkinsonian toxin-induced neuronal damage and motor impairment in a mouse toxicity model of PD [1] .
