  • Scientific Description
Chemical. CAS: 758-10-1. Formula: C2H5NOS. MW: 91.1. Synthetic. Non-toxic hydrogen sulfide (H2S) donor in vitro and in vivo. Stable under acidic and basic conditions but in the presence of bicarbonate liberates the gasotransmitter H2S and glycine. In cells it enhances cGMP formation and in mouse aortic rings promotes vasorelaxation. Cardiopotective agent. - Non-toxic hydrogen sulfide (H2S) donor in vitro and in vivo.
