Valencene (Standard) is the analytical standard of Valencene. This product is intended for research and analytical applications. Valencene is a sesquiterpene isolated from Cyperus rotundus, possesses antiallergic, antimelanogenesis, anti-infammatory, and antioxidant activitivies. Valencene inhibits the exaggerated expression of Th2 chemokines and proinflammatory chemokines through blockade of the NF-kappaB pathway. Valencene is used to flavor foods and drinks[1][2][3].
