    Rabbit polyclonal to ZNF185.Zinc finger protein 185 (ZNF185) may function as a tumor-suppressor protein by associating with theactin-cytoskeleton. Zinc-finger proteins bind nucleic acids and play important roles in various cellularfunctions, including cell proliferation, differentiation, and apoptosis. ZNF185 encodes a LIM-domainzinc finger protein. The LIM domain is composed of two contiguous zinc finger domains, separated bya two-amino acid residue hydrophobic linker. The LIM domain mediates protein:protein interactions.
