5-Aminosalicylic Acid (Standard) is the analytical standard of 5-Aminosalicylic Acid. This product is intended for research and analytical applications. 5-Aminosalicylic acid (Mesalamine) acts as a specific PPARgamma agonist and also inhibits p21-activated kinase 1 (PAK1) and NF-kappaB. 5-Aminosalicylic acid can inhibit the activity of osteopontin (OPN).
