    Ammonium 4-chloro-7-sulfobenzofurazan (SBF-Cl) is a water-soluble fluorogenic reagent which is highly specific for thiol groups. SBF-Cl is a very good substrate for the investigation of glutathione S-transferases (GST). Used as a hematology and histology stain and in diagnostic assay manufacturing. Spectral data: lambdaex 360 nm; lambdaem 410 nm (pH 8.5); lambdaex 383 nm; lambdaem 528 nm (Reaction product). - Chemical. CAS: 81377-14-2. Formula: C6H3ClN2O4S . NH3. MW: 251.65.
