    Adiphenine hydrochloride is a non-competitive inhibitor of nicotinic acetylcholine receptor (nAChR) , with an IC 50 s of 1.9, 1.8, 3.7, and 6.3 microM for alpha1 , alpha3beta4 , alpha4beta2 , and alpha4beta4 , respectively. Adiphenine hydrochloride has anticonvulsant effects [1] [2] [3] .
