AGL 2043 is an effective inhibitor of PDGFR (IC50=0.8 microM) and TEL-PDGFR kinases, as well as FLT3 and KIT kinases. AGL 2043 can effectively inhibit porcine cardiac smooth muscle cell proliferation and balloon-induced vascular stenosis, and is suitable for development as an anti-restenotic and anticancer agent[1].
