- Scientific DescriptionAMI-1 (Standard) is the analytical standard of AMI-1. This product is intended for research and analytical applications. AMI-1 is a potent, cell-permeable and reversible inhibitor of protein arginine N-methyltransferases (PRMTs), with IC50s of 8.8 microM and 3.0 microM for human PRMT1 and yeast-Hmt1p, respectively. AMI-1 exerts PRMTs inhibitory effects by blocking peptide-substrate binding[1].
