This antibody shows reactivity with anhydrous amoxicillin and other penicillin drugs like oxacillin sodium salt monohydrate (OXC), carbencillin disodium salt (CBC), penicillin G potassium salt (PCG), sulbenicillin (SBC), nafcillin sodium salt monohydrate

The ability of this antibody to bind amoxicillin and other penicillin drugs was determined by ELISA. This antibody shows reactivity with amoxicillin and 10 other penicillin drugs having a common core structure (6-aminopenicilanic acid, APA) and different light chains. The antibody recognized 11 penicillin drugs with an IC50 between 8.5-54.1 ng/mL (PMID: 27383141).
