The binding characterization of this antibody towards human APO-B was done using ELISA and immunoblotting. This antibody was also used in a serum assay to determine the quantity of apo-B in a sample using competitive ELISA. This antibody was shown to react with isolated human Apo-B as well as low density lipids but not with high density lipids and lipoprotein-deficient serum (Yoon et al., 1993).
