The cross-reactivity of this scFV with a panel of heterologous infectious bronchitis virus strains has been confirmed in ELISA experiments (Fernandes et al, 2010). In Western blot analysis, this scFv has been shown to bind IBV nucleoprotein (Fernandes et al, 2010). This scFv could be employed in immunodiagnostic techniques.
