The reactivity of the original antibody (alpaca VHH) against norovirus VLPs and P domains was determined using ELISA. Using isothermal titration calorimetry, a Kd of 28 nM was measured between the antibody and the GII.10 P domain. The crystal structure of this antibody in complex with norovirus GII.10 P domain was determined (Koromyslova & Hansman, 2015; PMID: 25520510). The epitope of this antibody was further characterized in X-ray crystallography and cryo-EM (Koromyslova & Hansman, 2017; PMID: 29095961).
