This antibody can be used for the identification of capsular polysaccharide of Neisseria meningitidis serogroup C using an ELISA. The cross reactivity of this antibody towards various serogroups of N. meningitidis was checked using ELISA (PMID: 15589322). This antibody can also be used in a whole cell ELISA at a 1:2000 dilution for detection of serogroup C (PMID: 12721942)
