In immunofluorescence assays on cryostat sections of myocardium, the antibody showed the characteristic cardiotin staining pattern in cardiomyocytes. The antibody was reactive with the 60 kDa and the 100 kDa cardiotin subunits of the SR-enriched fraction of swine heart tissue in western blot analysis (Schaart et al., 1997; PMID: 9042960).
