This antibody was used as an antagonist antibody to check if BTN3A can specifically enhance Vg9Vd2 TCR-mediated lysis of primary AML blasts using cytotoxic assays. This antibody was reported to significantly and drastically abrogate zoledronate (ZOL)-induced lysis (PMID: 27853633). This antibody can completely abrogate Vgamma9Vdelta2 T cell mediated lysis of tumors (PMID: 29296524).
