- Scientific DescriptionHuman CD36 is a major platelet glycoprotein also found on monocytes, macrophages and some endothelial cells. CD36 may play a role in cell adhesion as a receptor for thrombospondin. CD36 is a receptor for adhesion of malaria infected erythrocytes. CD36 is also proported to have a role in phagocytosis. - Monoclonal Antibody. Isotype: Mouse IgM. Clone: SMO. Applications: FACS, IP. 50 mM Sodium Phosphate pH 7.5, 500 mM Potassium Chloride, 150mM NaCl, 5% Glycerol, 0.2% BSA, 0.04% NaN3 (as a preservative).
