  • Antibody Specificity
The antibody is specific for CD5. CD5 is a cluster of differentiation expressed on the surface of T cells of various species and in a subset of murine B cells known as B-1a. It may act as a receptor in regulating T-cell proliferation.
  • Application Supplier Note
The antibody specifically detected CD5 protein in Western blot analysis. The antibody 11H3 and the commercial antibody SP19 were used to stain T cell lymphoma. Results showed the antibody specificity is comparable to the commercial antibody. Further, the sensitivity of the antibody 11H3 was higher than the commercial antibody. The antibody and the commercially available antibody TA347 were simultaneously detected on the normal tissue chip, indicating that the specificity of the antibody in normal tissue was equivalent to that of the commercially available antibody.
