The original antibody was used for immunohistochemistry on spinal cord sections from patients with FALS. This antibody was used in vivo on transgenic rats with SOD1H46R mutation. The treatment improved phenotypes and extended the lifespan of the rats. This antibody was used for an ELISA on recombinant protein SOD1G93A (Minamiyama et al., 2023; PMID:36874245).
