The binding affinity of the antibody to DLL4 was measured by surface plasmon resonance (Kd= 5 nM). The specificity of the original format of the antibody for human and mouse DLL4 was confirmed by ELISA analysis. The antibody inhibited the binding between DLL4 and the Notch receptor, thereby inhibiting Notch signaling. The antibody was shown to reduce the size of the tumor in mice transplanted with human lung cancer cells A549 cells (KR1020140085790A).
