IF: 2H12/4 anti-DMC1 antibody was used to visualise DMC1 on chromatin in I-L2-NS endopolyploid tumour cells in experiments investigating the role of another protein - REC8 in chromosome segregation after radiation (Erenpreisa et al., 2009). This antibody was also utilised to stain paraffin-embedded cervical cancer tissue samples against DMC1 (Ianzini et al., 2009). IF: Hopkins et al. (2014) successfully used this antibody to stain chromatin spreads from purified testicular germ cells of Stag3+/- and Stag3-/- mice for DMC1 in the studies on the role of Stag3. IF: Another group also used this antibody for the immunofluorescence staining of spermatocyte chromosome spreads against DMC1 in a study analysing proteins involved in telomeres attachment to the nuclear envelope (Wang et al., 2019).
