To show the specificity of the mouse version of this antibody, immunoprecipitation and western blots on DYNLT1- and DYNLT3-GST fusion proteins were preformed with this antibody. Furthermore, the blotting and immunoprecipitating experiments were preformed on brain and tissue culture cell lysates and microtubule pellets prepared from rat brain. In both experiments it showed positive results. The antibody was isolated using ELISA on the DYNLT1- and DYNLT3-GST fusion proteins (Lo et al, 2007; pmid:17965411).
