Overview
- SupplierAbsolute Antibody
- Product NameAnti-E. coli LacI [9A5]
- Delivery Days Customer9
- Antibody SpecificityThe antibody recognizes LacI and recombinant proteins containing the LacI tag. The lac repressor is a DNA-binding protein which inhibits the expression of genes coding for proteins involved in the metabolism of lactose in bacteria. These genes are repress
- Application Supplier NoteThis antibody was used for immunohistochemistry on tissue sections from mice transgenic for the R transgene (muscle, skin, hippocampus, cerebellum) (Cronin et al, 2001; PMID: 11410531). The antibody was used to detect the lac repressor protein by western blot analysis (Blevins et al., 2007; PMID: 17220265). The antibody was employed to stain third instar larval salivary glands (Hines et al., 2009; PMID: 19487560). Immunofluorescence staining using the antibody was performed on parental B49.5 lacO integrated cells and B49.5 cells stably expressing lacI-lap2b (Finlan et al., 2008; PMID: 18369458).
