Overview
- SupplierAbsolute Antibody
- Product NameAnti-E protein [Mab 4.2]
- Delivery Days Customer9
- Application Supplier NoteThe antibody prevented mice against challenge with a lethal dose of LIV (Gao et al., 1994; PMID: 8126456). The specificity of the scFv fragment for LIV antigen was confirmed by ELISA analysis. Immunofluorescence was performed on PS cells infected with LIV or TBEV using the scFv and the original antibody. The antibody and the scFv fragment could neutralize both LIV and TBEV (Jiang et al., 1994; PMID: 8128623). The binding affinities of the scFv fragment for LIV E and for TBEV E were measured by surface plasmon resonance (respectively 45.4 nM and 390 nM for LIV and TBEV E). The structures of the scFv fragment in complex with the envelope protein from either TBEV or LIV were determined. The antibody showed potential as a therapeutic agent (Yang et al., 2019; PMID: 30760569).
